ABOUT 

Monisha, a native of Fernandina Beach, FL, seamlessly melds her twin passions for community empowerment and creativity to enrich the lives of individuals, communities, and businesses. As the proud Owner and Creative Director of Perks of Mo Media Agency, she specializes in the art of social media management and content creation. Her profound expertise in this arena has consistently empowered businesses and organizations to elevate their online presence and effectively engage with their target audiences.

 

Before embarking on her entrepreneurial journey, Monisha built a career working in faith-based, community organizing throughout the state of Florida, and her endeavors involved mobilizing leaders for civic engagement and voter empowerment initiatives. With grace and dedication, she served both locally and at the state level, collaborating closely with esteemed government officials, including Commissioner Tiffany Moore Russell in her service to the constituents of Orange County District 6 and as a Legislative Aide to Representative Travaris McCurdy in Florida House District 46. She also lent her skills to issue-based organizations, advocating for voter empowerment by crafting compelling digital ads, informative election graphics, and cutting-edge social media marketing strategies. Her relentless commitment to fostering community participation has left an indelible mark statewide.

 

In addition to her government and organizing experience, Monisha serves as a mentor with Orange County Public Schools, where she guides and empowers young minds on their paths to success. Since 2014, she has been a dedicated member of the Central Florida Urban Young Professionals, holding numerous leadership roles and serving as President from 2020 to 2022.

 

Monisha is a very active member of her church, The Experience Christian Center, where her faith serves as a guiding force in her life. Now residing in Orlando, FL alongside her commitments, she is a nurturing plant mom to her cherished plants, Kast and Stacks.
